With so many Android devices from Samsung that have been released this year, you would definitely think that they would just miss sending out the Galaxy player 5.0 all in all- it being an instrument actually released on international level few months back. Instead they have been launched silently in such a way that wont overthrow the iPod as many people have said that it would be addressing to do, but will fill the emptiness where Samsung just has not had a wi-fi only handheld player earlier. But the question is will it be sold for how it is or will it descent at its own hands of more attractive lineup of smartphones?
Galaxy Player 5.0 comes in 5 inch length, the other one comes with 4 inches. This instrument has a WVGA TFT LCD display, means it comes with 480 pixels across and 800 down. It has the same amount of pixels like many other Samsung devices that are available in the market already, all of them come with small screens. The pixels on this screen are scattered over a huger space instead of being packed tightly, this makes it appear large in a comical way. Observe the amount of images on the screen on the player compared with other devices of Samsung, all of them with the similar amount of pixels throughout various displays of different sizes such as Galaxy SII from AT&T with 4.32 inch, Epic 4G Touch with 4.52 inch and Stratosphere with 4 inch.
These displays of course have different technology behind them, the Galaxy Player comes with TFT LCD, Stratosphere comes with Super AMOLED and GSII with Super AMOLED Plus. This device is not just large, but it is basically candy stretched to a bigger size. So, just like any other instrument, if you have not got all the devices or if you are not used to a device that is high definition, you won’t the difference between them.
