Samsung, which is very interested to place a competetor in every niche and corner of the smartphone market is now bringing the Galaxy Ace Plus on as an alternative for their Galaxy Ace, which is a mid range phone. Featuring a little bigger screen and speedy processor, the new handset could be the perfect stepping stone for people coming from a bad phone. It should be comparatively affordable upgrade of a droid of entry level as well.

Samsung have taken an additional move with Galaxy Ace Plus, appraising it to Gingerbread 2.3.6 and the recent version of their UI of TouchWiz for a better experience. There has been an increase in performance as well. One thing that Samsung was assured that they had address was the low quality video recording on the real Galaxy Ace. It would be a waste of 1GHz processor to have a VGA@30 fps, but it is something when you consider the predecessor had to work with hopeless QVGA @ 15 fps. Specifications of the new Galaxy Ace Plus are as follows.

Galaxy Ace Plus comes with touchscreen bar, dimensions of 114.5×62.5×11.2mm, it weighs 115g, Adreno 200 GPU, 512MB RAM, Android 2.3.6 OS, display of 3.65” 16M colors HVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen, GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, UMTS 900/2100, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbs, 3GB inbuilt memory, 32GB micro SD card slot, 5MP auto focus camera, smile and face detection, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, stereo Bluetooth 3.0, standard microUSB port,GPS receiver with A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, stereo FM radio with RDS, TV out.

Other features of Galaxy Ace Plus include inbuilt accelerometer, proximity sensor, swype text input, multi-touch input, Touchwiz 4.0 UserInterface.

The Galaxy Ace Plus appears to be including all its beses as a good smartphone of midrange, that doesn’t meant that the actual Galaxy Ace has increase the bar very hight, but it seems like Samsung modified everything what needed to be modified with the new Galaxy Ace Plus.
